After a successful debut, the Atlanta-based experimental electronica artist and producer, A Broken System, has just released his expansively dynamic debut EP, An Escape.
With every track different from the last, An Escape is just that; a journey through caustic cyberpunk energy, ambient-deep-tech, trip-hop and sultry acid-house before ending on the accordance of spacey vintage synths and haunting reverb.
A Broken System’s tendency to push his vintage sound in different directions to other contemporary artists, engineers and producers, allows his sound to carry the hallmarks of a pioneer. Yet any fans of Oneohtrix Point Never, JPEGMAFIA and Shlomo will appreciate his cinematic sonic palette.
