Charlie Moss: "I'm Not Leaving"

Having already toured alongside The Sherlocks, Trampolene, Louis Berry, seen support from the BBC, Amazing Radio as well as playing the main stage at Reading PRIDE, alternative singer-songwriter Charlie Moss returns with ‘I’m Not Leaving’ just released today.

Taking inspiration from the likes of The 1975, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Sea Girls, Charlie Moss has been releasing music and steadily gaining a dedicated following since bursting onto the scene in 2018.

Accompanying the singles release is the candid behind the scenes music video, which is set to release May 8th.

Charlie uses his music as a platform to maintain a conversation on mental health, and is not afraid to address, and share his personal aperture. Having recently lost his father to cancer, Moss is more dedicated than ever to push himself in his music career, promising his father he’d never give up until he made a breakthrough.

Speaking more on the release, Charlie explained: "I was inspired to write I’m Not Leaving because I wanted to write a song about the nostalgia and rush of emotion you feel when you’re young and in love. It’s about enjoying life as a teenager, going out drinking, meeting new people and having fun. It’s ultimately about a girl I like that’s playing hard to get, and me trying to get her to go on a date with me. I wanted to write an upbeat song that makes you feel good, a song you can listen to in summer, driving with the windows down singing with your mates. I wrote it just before the Coronavirus pandemic and ironically the song title is more prevalent than ever!"
