We had the pleasure of checking in with Crystal and she was kind enough to respond to a few interview questions:

Tell us about "Game On", how did you come up with this song?

We wanted to write a song that was upbeat and would get a crowd dancing when doing live shows! Female empowerment is a huge part of my brand so I wanted to tie that aspect of going after whatever it is you want into the song, and it just so happened to turn into a story about a girl telling a guy in a bar she wants to dance!

You have a line dance that goes with the song, how did that come about?

Yes!!! We said right off the bat after writing this track in 2018 that it needed a dance to go along with it!!! Sarah Carmichael is an amazing choreographer and put together this fun dance that you can check out in the music video or the tutorial!! Learn the dance and tag me on socials and I will reshare it for you!!!!

Do you have a dream venue you would like to perform at?

The Grand Ole Opry would be amazing!

What is the most rewarding project in your career thus far?

I am super proud of the Game On Release not only pushing it in Canada and USA but having success with commercial radio and MTV/CMT placement for the video in Australia! I have been saying for years that I want to release my music in Australia, so I am very proud of accomplishing that this year, especially as an independent artist as we are going through a pandemic! It's insane times right now so these wins are really something to celebrate!

100 years from now, how do you want to be remembered?

As a kind, supportive, go-getter that was always there for loved ones. It is so important to me to share kindness and lift other people up on this journey!! I have a million ideas all the time so I'm actively doing something all the time and continuously working on how to balance working and spending quality time with the ones I love in life.

Which platforms are most active on and how can our readers stay connected with you?

I'd have to say instagram, I do use facebook, twitter and tik tok but instagram is my main go to!!!
