Jillian Ann: I Hope You're Listening Now

Jillian Ann: I Hope You're Listening Now

Jillian Ann is a Boston native singer-songwriter, performer, and recent graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music. She has created a catalog of music that transcends a variety of genres, and has been compared to the likes of 70s singer/songwriter icons Carly Simon and Kate Bush. Jillian steps into the Indie Pop genre on her latest EP release, “I Hope You’re Listening Now”, a concept EP depicting the adversity and struggles of going through life during pandemic years.

In her own words:

"This project really means a lot to me as it was a transition into a different era that reflected how I have been feeling since this pandemic began. I wrote these 4 tracks during this time when I was feeling lost and dealing with a lot of loss and let downs, and questioning why what was happening, was happening. It focuses on struggling through these times alone and without any idea of what was (or is) to come. And I couldn’t have done this without my best friend and producer Jayesh Prakash who I worked on this with over the past year completely remote while I’m in Boston and he is in Singapore. It was truly a fulfilling experience and I can’t thank him enough. This is a concept EP so please listen to each song from beginning to end."
