Le Druss: Ma Terre

Le Druss: Ma Terre

The Franco-Lebanese artist LE DRUSS belongs to the movement of non-provocative artists who refuse the use of vulgarity. "I make rap finé", underlines Le Druss, in reference to the careful vocabulary chosen in each of his songs.

An assiduous reader of literary and philosophical works, Le Druss offers us a dense text, in love with words, to speak to us about the child who is in us. After the release of 3 first singles in 2021, MA TERRE is his first official album.

The artist delivers his truth in this autobiographical album MA TERRE. The artist's name LE DRUSS refers both to his civil name "Dussetour" and to his Lebanese origin "Druze".

The Druze community (born in the eleventh century) is nourished by monotheistic values imbued with Western and Buddhist religions. The Druze advocate modesty, respect for women and the family, generosity, hospitality and assistance to the needy, and abstention from slander. This respectful posture is reflected in the lyrics of the songs of the artist LE DRUSS.

In the album MA TERRE, we find universal themes that speak to us about love, loss, adversity, and with as a common thread, the search for an emotional balance to live one's life authentically.

Fans of classic French rap will recognize a solid flow, values of combativeness to face the trials of life, coming from middle classes, wanting to change one's condition, for oneself and for one's family

Those who are not familiar with French rap will be able to reconcile themselves with this musical trend by discovering lyrics that speak to the heart of "serious" subjects
