Leon Seti: "Antidote"

Leon Seti: "Antidote"

Leon Seti created the acoustic folk-pop ‘Antidote’ to situational apathy with their latest single

While the world waited with bated breath for a vaccine, they never anticipated the ‘Antidote’ to the epidemic of apathy which comes in the form of Tuscan-residing pop artist Leon Seti’s latest single that was released on March 12th, 2021. The sentimentally candid lyrics fall perfectly into the lulling acoustic guitar melodies crafted by collaborative artist Francis while reminding the listener that no amount of ennui is enough to keep you locked away from yourself forever. Tracy Chapman and Jeff Buckley reminiscences echo in Seti’s mellifluous signature production style that has previously seen him gracing Italian Billboard charts and reaching number one on the iTunes electronic chart.

Leon Seti said: “Antidote talks about the struggle of apathy and feeling stuck in life. People often bury their dreams under fear of the unknown; this song is about how little it takes to escape it. Sometimes a hug or a touch is all a person needs to set themselves free.”

Leon Seti (AKA Leo Baldi) has been a prolific artist, songwriter performer and producer since making their debut in 2015. As an artist based between London and Italy, Seti has been able to capture the hearts and minds of audiences on both sides of the water. His nostalgically experimental electropop caught the attention of BBC Introducing while his latest album, COBALT, graced the Billboard charts in Italy and reached #1 on the iTunes Electronic chart. He has played in The O2 Academy Islington and The Spice of Life in London, as well as historic clubs such as Spin Time Labs in Rome and Il Cassero in Bologna.
