Simona-Valentina: Head Outta Washing Machine

Simona-Valentina compels her listeners to follow their dreams in her confessionally quaint country pop-rock single, Head Outta Washing Machine

Romania-born, London-based country pop rock star in the making, Simona-Valentina, has released her endearingly confessional single, Head Outta Washing Machine. The inspiring single serenades the listener back to when she was only brave enough to sing into the cavern of a washing machine. It’s the artistic redemption story you never knew you needed. No longer hiding, Simona-Valentina is lighting up the airwaves with her toe-tapping pop-rock touched by country melodies and taking to stages across London with her uninhibitedly honest singles, inspired by her 70s and 90s idols. A massive part of her stage presence is inspiring the audience to follow in her footsteps, which led her to become a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition in 2019. Head Outta Washing Machine was created in Simona-Valentina’s home studio with the help of collaborator and multi-instrumentalist Riccardo Poole; the final mixing and mastering were taken care of by Liam Wheeler at Alberto Mixing.

Simona-Valentina said: I used to sing with my head in the washing machine when I was six years old. This is my retrospectively funny music story, and what I am confessing with this new song. I was shy and introverted at that age, lacking the confidence to sing in front of people; hence, the darkness and intimacy of singing with my head inside the washing machine appealed to me greatly.
