Singer songwriter Dave Clark releases his new single “Dreamscape”

Singer songwriter Dave Clark has released a stunning new single “Dreamscape”. Following up on the last single, “Eyes On The Road”, Dave Clark’s new track is another evolution of his unique sound, blending complex and absorbing guitar playing with a strong melody and infectious rhythms.

This is Dave’s seventh release, adding to a growing body of work recognized for strong, meaningful lyrics set to finely crafted tunes. Songs that demand to be listened to, absorbed and experienced.

This latest release “Dreamscape” is another intriguing piece. Floating synths and intricate percussion play against Clark’s superb guitar playing with changes in pace and melody that create a truly surreal dreamlike experience.

Dave Clark Recorded at Dave’s home studio and mixed by producer Glenn Kerrigan, the two have again created something that is distinctive but very listenable. A song to get lost in. 

“After “America” and “I called for you” - two songs that came with strong messages, I’ve returned to a more personal perspective for this one”, says Dave. “Waking from a particularly fantastical dream (one of many), I wanted to try and capture the feeling and flow of something we all experience. Dreams stop and start, change speed, morph from one thing to another. The songs are not quite a conventional structure but I think it has that essence to it.”

Dave is performing regularly and building his live audiences whilst writing and recording new songs. He continues to create his own artwork, adding to the music with visual elements to build on the song. The piece for this release is full of the same surreal imagery found in the lyrics.
