J.J. Mayka Releases Reflective New Single “Signs”

J.J. Mayka just released “Signs”, his first single of 2025. It’s a smooth groovin’ track that crescendos with gritty guitars mixed in with clean tone riffs. “Signs” is a thoughtful track that blends its catchy feel with a deeper message—delivered to the listener with an authentic and raw vocal character. 

Since the beginning of  his music journey back in 2020, Mayka has been mixing genres and creating music that he personally enjoys. It’s a true solo project, he plays most of the instruments himself, while sometimes he brings in other musicians to help with certain spots. He’s a big fan of jazz and you can feel that influence in the way he composes songs.

“The song is much about seeking for sense and harmony in this crazy world. You don’t want to miss the signs leading you to the right path of the journey.“ Mayka encourages listeners to take advantage of the limited time we have and live in the moment. He says, “Every day is your life. Yesterday was. Tomorrow is not yet.”

The lyrics are simple but deliver the message: “All you need is a sign / Just a little more time.” It’s a reminder to stay aware, move forward, and choose love over hate.

With this release, Mayka gives us something that’s both easy to vibe to and worth thinking about.
