Nothing But Silence is keeping the releases flowing with their new single, “Tell Me I Belong.” It’s one of three songs they’ve released this year, alongside “MIND” and “Cynical,” which was a collaboration with Chicago dream-pop artist COOL HEAT. “Tell Me I Belong” is a vibe, simply put. It’s smooth, spacey, and easy to get lost in.
It’s mostly an instrumental track that is built on dreamy synths and grooves that make you feel like you’re floating away, but entices you to dance while you do. The vocals that are in the song are heavily (and tastefully) layered, blending into the music like another instrument instead of taking center stage.
