After exploring heartbreak on the moving piano piece "Pure Heartbreak," Los Angeles-based pianist and Emmy Award-winning composer Peter Manning Robinson returns with something altogether brighter. His latest single, "Bent Out of Shape," is an uplifting instrumental that embraces optimism without sacrificing emotional depth.
From its opening moments, the composition radiates warmth and playfulness. Robinson's expressive piano work dances through lively melodies and whimsical flourishes, creating a piece that feels both cinematic and deeply personal. The track was born from a difficult period in Robinson's life. Although much of his recent career has centered on his groundbreaking Refractor Piano™, "Bent Out of Shape" is part of his forthcoming solo piano album, Excursions, a deeply personal collection inspired by grief, healing, and hope.
