Shweta Harve: Which One is Real?
Which One Is Real? — Shweta Harve’s Introspective Pop Inquiry
by Jack Rush
Billboard-charting singer-songwriter Shweta Harve returns with her most thought-provoking work to date. Following the success of her Top 40 Billboard and Top 30 Mediabase hit “What the Troll?”—a socially conscious collaboration with Italian composer Dario Cei—Harve unveils her new single “Which One Is Real?”, releasing October 24, 2025 on MTS Records.
A storyteller at heart, Harve is known for her deeply personal songs and melodic soundscapes that blend emotional depth with contemporary pop sensibilities. Her work often explores themes of identity, resilience, and digital responsibility, resonating with listeners who crave authenticity and meaning.
With “Which One Is Real?”, Harve and Cei delve into the timeless question of selfhood: who are we beneath our many roles and masks? The track layers shimmering production with Harve’s warm, vulnerable vocals, weaving a dialogue between the ego—reactive and fearful—and the soul—steady, unchanging, and aware. The result is both musically rich and philosophically profound.
The accompanying music video, described as “a cinematic enigma,” brings the song’s message vividly to life. The narrative unfolds as a dialogue between the ego and the soul, portrayed through four masked characters representing illusion, pride, fear, and attachment. As the performance builds, each mask falls away, symbolizing the dissolution of ego and the return to pure awareness. “Who you see is not you, I’m the one who sees you,” Harve sings, revealing the eternal witness beyond self-perception.
“The ego doesn’t need to be destroyed,” Harve reflects. “It simply needs to be seen through. When the masks fall away, what remains is the presence that has always been there—the witness.”
Blending modern pop textures with spiritual introspection, “Which One Is Real?” is both a musical statement and a meditative invitation—a journey from illusion to truth, from identity to awareness. Through it, Shweta Harve continues to establish herself as a rare artist with both heart and depth, crafting songs that move the soul while engaging the mind.
