Buckland Boys; Quiet Town
Buckland Boys Release New Single “Quiet Town (Snow Falling)”
by Jack -Rush
The Buckland Boys are back with a brand new song just in time for the winter season, “Quiet Town (Snow Falling).” The idea of the song originated from a late-night Christmas Eve walk through a small town. Most notably, it came from a simple moment—snow falling, empty streets, and the sound of people singing inside a pub down the road, like something out of a Christmas movie. You couldn’t quite make out the words the people were singing, but you could feel the warmth, and that feeling became the heart of the song.
The band is a blend of musicians who spend their time between New York and Seattle, with trips through places like Nashville, L.A., and as far as Tokyo. Most of them are longtime session players—people who spend their lives helping other artists make great music. The Buckland Boys started as a way to bring everyone together, something like a long-distance musical family who visits each other on the holidays.
“Quiet Town (Snow Falling)” leans on acoustic guitars, soft vocals, and that classic winter vibe many are nostalgic for. It’s not a big Christmas anthem; it’s more like a small snapshot of a moment in time or a scene from a movie. They say, “The chorus tries to recreate that quiet, almost cinematic moment of feeling connected to something warm and familiar but being an outsider too.”
The song also features a unique detail: the sleigh bells used on the track are from the 1930s and were once played on Broadway.
The release arrives just in time for the snow to start falling. Get in the spirit of the season and listen to “Quiet Town (Snow Falling)” by Buckland Boys, streaming everywhere.
