As summer heats up drastically and our sweaty minds revert quickly to staying cool and calm, Brooklyn’s Bushwick Princess have other ideas and turn up the temperature gauge even more with their new single Dead/Basic.
This is an energetically stimulating ride which will get your pulse shaking like Kimi Antonelli racing against George Russell. There is so much synth-pop to nibble on like a piece of cheese inside a new friend's fridge at a house party you somehow got invited to.
There are elements of 80’s, punk and dance all sliced up neatly in this tasty sandwich of a song which deserves the full course. Pulsating, catchy and enjoyable, this is a thoroughly worthwhile song for anyone who likes to slide on their kitchen floor with their shoes off or get transported back to simpler times.
With an EP on the way and a sound which is an ode to classic acts before streaming was even conceived, this one will be loved by those who are just keen to forget their troubles and just dance the evening away.
