Tam Bor Drops a Genre-Bending Debut with “Intense & Ciao”

Tam Bor is the solo project of Swiss-Mexican drummer Giacomo Bastianelli, born out of years of live performance experience and a solid legacy in the alternative scene, thanks to his work with Peter Kernel.
Forged through hundreds of live shows, Giacomo has developed a personal style that blends the raw energy of drumming with a deep passion for electronic production. His musical approach merges rock, indie, hip-hop, and Latin rhythms, creating an eclectic and instantly recognizable sound.
His debut album, "Intense & Ciao", is the manifesto of this dual nature. The title comes from a phrase tattooed on his skin, taken from a book by a close artist friend — an expression that perfectly captures his way of living and creating. Every project, every concert, every song is experienced with total emotional intensity, then released lightly, without regret, like a natural cycle of transformation.
This philosophy is reflected in the album’s tracks: eleven steps on an introspective journey through the birth of inspiration, the confrontation with identity, the artist’s dilemmas, failures, turning points, landscapes, and life's recurring patterns. It's an honest and vulnerable path, expressing the tension between the desire to build and the freedom to let go.
Entirely produced, performed, and crafted by Giacomo himself — also drawing from his background in design at ECAL in Lausanne — "Intense & Ciao" fuses sound and image into a coherent, authentic, and visually powerful aesthetic. The album is released by On The Camper Records, accompanied by a series of concerts that bring the physical, immersive energy of Tam Bor to the stage.
