Producer and composer Terrence Esquire Huggins has released GirlsLoveRnB, a 15-track studio album featuring a diverse selection of vocalists and musicians. Issued September 25, 2026, through Esquire Productions/LDR Entertainment, the recording represents an extensive collaborative undertaking from the Latin Grammy-nominated producer, whose professional background encompasses composition, recording, and production across several musical disciplines.
The album's structure places considerable emphasis on collaboration, with Terrence Esquire Huggins serving as the principal creative presence throughout. Opening selection “Rose Petals” features Matt Capone, followed by contributions from Del Ro'Yale on “Purple Roses” and Brittany Wells-Arrington on “She Knows It.” Additional appearances include Ray Gifted Keys on “Now We Speakin',” Ajhourni on “HSKPG” and “Dime A Dozen,” and Marshay on “Shine Bright.”
The latter portion of the recording introduces further contributors, including Ballad, NiccoFeem, J2 Tha Craftsman, Judi K.O., Lash Lehrue, Shez Treble, Louissa, and Emeka Bridges. This rotating ensemble gives the album a collaborative character while allowing Terrence Esquire Huggins to explore different approaches to contemporary rhythm and blues.
Thematically, GirlsLoveRnB addresses attraction, interpersonal uncertainty, and the emotional complexities associated with romantic involvement. Its stated musical direction incorporates traditional soul influences alongside modern production techniques, reflecting the producer's longstanding interest in working across stylistic boundaries.
Originally emerging from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan music community, Terrence Esquire Huggins has developed experience in genres extending beyond R&B, including electronic music. That professional range informs the broader creative ambitions behind the recording.
Rather than concentrating on a single vocalist or narrative perspective, GirlsLoveRnB functions as a producer-led collection, bringing numerous performers together under a shared musical concept. The result is a substantial addition to Terrence Esquire Huggins' production catalog and a showcase for the collaborative relationships supporting his work.
