Everest Cale Brings "Animals" to Life in New Live Studio Video

Everest Cale recently released a video for "Animals," a song off of their 2026 album And We Sing. Filmed at Wildwood Recording Studio in Brooklyn, New York, the video gives fans a front-row seat as the band performs the song live in studio.
The song was inspired by a walk to rehearsal. "Animals explores what happens after we die," said singer Brett Treacy. "It weighs religion and evolution, but ultimately centers on the decision to make the most of the life we have."
The lyrics ask big questions while reminding listeners of what connects us all, especially in the chorus: "After all the years we have evolved, we're still / Animals."
Lead guitarist Jeremy Kolmin said the song has been with the band for years. "The lyrics and melody are fantastic, short and sweet, but this song really packs a punch, and is one of my favorites," he said.
The performance was recorded after Wildwood Recording Studio owner Sonny Ratcliff invited the band in for a day of live recording. Producer and engineer Parks Vallely joined the session on keys, helping capture the band's live sound.
Instead of trying to be flashy, the video focuses on the music. It's an honest look at the band's performance and shows off the talent and chemistry of the band.
